Apryl did not impress one of the judges, and thus was not picked. Then she got introduced to the world-renowned artist, and went on tours as a backup singer. They became friends and opted to be a part of the Vh1 famous TV show Hollywood becoming one of the first eight actors. The initial season focuses on the birth and pregnancy of their baby son Megaa Omari. In season 2, she discusses the struggles she has faced in her profession and struggles with insecurity associated with her recent success. Omarion Was on tour at the time of the recording for season two, did not travel with Apryl. Apryl announced on the 7th of December 2015 that she and Omarion had quit the show. The pair would not appear in the next season. Apryl and Omarion welcomed their daughter A'mei Kazuo Grandberry on the 7, 2016. Apryl broke up with Omarion within four months. Apryl will make an appearance on season four, where she met in a meeting along with Lil' Fizz discuss a possibility for a B2K reunion. Apryl will return to the show for season six that follows her custody battle with Omarion in addition to the scrutiny and speculation from the media about her relationship with Lil' Fizz. The two admit that they're in a relationship which has pushed Moniece as well along with the other group into conflict.
